Thanks everyone for your comments. I didn't expect that people would like this photo. I was troubled by the orange cast to the image so I corrected it. The original image is linked. I'm still not sure about this version. I liked the greenish background of the original. Maybe, when I have more time, I'll tweak it some more.

I think your son is adorable and I also think the photo is excellent. You have already pointed out the lack of DOF. It's mostly on the sides of Danny's face. In a way, this blur brings out his eyes even more. Great job Samson!! ~~ Michelle ~~

There's a lot of life in his eyes. You can allways tell a lot about a childs' liveliness by looking at it's eyes. Typical about him: Energetic, sensitive, REALLY cranky when he's tired, creative, smart (a little to smart sometimes) and a little hesertative/shy towards strangers. That's what this individuals'eyes tell me. You tell me where I am right. Beautifull shot.
