Hmm. I don't think this is among your best works mate. It is an interesting capture indeed, but it doesn't seem as sharp as your work usually does. Did you use a tripod? Because i think there might be a tiny camera shake in it or something.

And yes, i can tell you like close ups

I don't think the focus is really off but more a case of very limited DOF, which is very normal from such as close macro. Good shot!
